Saher Jones - Figure Pro

I’m Saher Jones and I’m a British-born Asian Muslim woman from London. I love figure athletes and bodybuilding.

I want to make history and be the first ever British Muslim IFBB Figure Pro in the world. I am training under the guidance of IFBB European Figure Pro Louise Rogers, who is also my friend and mentor.

I am also currently working on getting my first book published by the end of this year. It is a shocking autobiography, with a highly uplifting ending.

I want to be a very positive role model for British-born Asian women and show them that we can have great physiques with the correct training and nutrition. I also want to show that extreme adversity can be overcome and you can go on to achieve extraordinary things. I have applied the principles of Bodybuilding to my work and the results are fantastic.

My love for the iron began in my own garage, where I had all my equipment. I would go out there in extreme weather conditions and crazy times, but nothing stopped me from training. My friends have referred to me as the female equivalent of Rocky. I am no different from you, I have a family, I have responsibilities and my focus is finding that balance so I can live my dream.

My bodybuilding idol from the 70s is Arnold Schwarzenegger and from the modern day, Ronnie Coleman.

I have a goal and I am so determined to become number one, I have been fortunate to speak with many Pro Bodybuilders and they have all encouraged me to dig deep and be the best I am.

I believe I am very fortunate to be living my dream and when Impact Road Shows invited me to accompany Ronnie Coleman for his London Seminar it was truly a dream come true. I want to share my journey with you as I stand tall – ripped and shredded on stage and to be able to say 'ThisIsWhatIGot2012'
